Technology conservative organizations are very cautious when buying into a new technology or upgrading an existing program, platform or system. “If it is working just fine now, why do I have to change” is the mindset in this type of organization.

They must have proof of results before they accept the product's usefulness. Even when they have recommendations from others, they really would prefer to avoid new technologies altogether. A technology conservative organization typically has employees that are resistant to change.

This type of organization thinks of themselves as an insurance firm that happen to use technology.
